Before you download and install XP SP3, everyone should create a Windows restore point.

If you have a PC with an AMD chip, STOP NOW. Check out this website before proceeding:

If you have installed XP SP 3 and when you restart your PC it just keeps re-booting, that same link can help you fix it. I just helped a member fix this problem using the advice at this site, and everything seems fine now.
