Product Reviews by Members of the PPCUG:

Vendors sometimes provide software which they would like to have reviewed or evaluated. Product reviews are an important club function. Get involved! This benefits you, our club, as well as the vendor. Club member requests for a particular program will be forwarded to the appropriate vendor. In general, if received, the program (less the registration card) will be made available to an interested club member. Most reviews should be submitted in written form, floppy disk or E-mail format within 30 days after the program was received. A guideline for writing a review will be provided and the member will be asked to sign a Software Review Checkout form before receiving a product for review. Remember, do an honest review and keep it simple. A member may have only one piece of software out for review at a time. When the review is completed and accepted for publication in our newsletter the member keeps the software and registration is permitted. In the event that the review cannot be completed, the complete package must be returned to the club so that someone else may check out the program.

The vendors request a copy of our newsletter which contains the review to give them user feedback. In doing so, we are insuring their continued support of our user group.

If you get a software program or hardware product that would be of interest to your fellow club members, share your find and do a review. Your review will be forwarded to the editor for publication in the Plateau PC Users Gazette.
